This deep-water reef creates some of the largest and most consistent waves in the Pacific Northwest, and the reef creates many different wave shapes and breaks, making it a great place for surfers to experiment and improve their skills. Due to its challenging waves and deep water, Nelscott Reef is not recommended for beginner surfers, but for those with experience, it's a must-visit destination.
